This page describes the terms of the booking fee. You cannot secure an appointment to get tattooed without agreeing to the terms herein. By paying your invoice online or in the shop, you are stating that you agree to the terms listed herein. I will have linked to this page in your invoice and stated the same there.
The amount of your booking fee will be determined by your artist and is under all circumstances considered non-refundable and non-transferrable. The fee you put down to book will come off the final session of your tattoo, should your tattoo be multiple sessions. The artist retains the right to refuse service at any time.
You will not see the drawing before the appointment unless we have made special arrangements. For this reason you must be very clear on what you would like to get tattooed. Any changes that need to be made to the drawing will be done at the beginning of your appointment time. When you do see the drawing it will be an outline only to suit the stencil. No shading or coloring should be expected.
If we have scheduled a drawing consult, in order to protect the artists work you may not photograph, keep, or take the design. The design will not be emailed or sent physically or digitally. The artist retains all right to the design or tattoo, including the right to photograph the completed design or tattoo and the right to share the completed tattoo in portfolios both online an in hard copy photos.
Touch ups are not always included in the price of the tattoo and may be an extra expense, especially if the artist determines your tattoo was not properly cared for. If the artist offers a free touch up. It will be one session and will need to be booked within six months of your original appointment.
If you need to reschedule it needs to be done via email, phone or in person at the shop. Messages via instagram, facebook, twitter, or leaving a message on an answering machine, will be considered invalid and will result in a forfeiture of your fee. If you need to reschedule, your new appointment needs to be within three months of your original appointment.
The final cost of the tattoo may or may not be determined before starting a project. I understand my tattoo may be priced at an hourly rate or at a flat rate, and I agree to pay the artist in full for the project
YOUR FEE WILL BE FORFEIT UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
Failing to show up, call, or email in advance.
Showing up 15 minutes or more late for your appointment
Less than 72 hours notice for rescheduling
Rescheduling multiple times.
Leaving a deposit for three months without contact.
Changes in idea/design/placement/size/budget.
Arriving sunburned, intoxicated, hung over, and/or without ID.
Failing to disclose medical conditions ahead of time.
Attempting to reschedule using any other method other than calling or emailing the artist.
Non-transferrable: You may not use this fee with another artist. Another person aside from yourself may not use this fee to get tattooed instead.
The artist retains the right to make any exception based on her own discretion.
